Every so often you need to pick something and give it absolutely everything you've got. Nothing left in the tank type stuff. Lion Mind stuff. Growth comes quickly from these transformational experiences.

Expectation can be a curse

It takes you out the moment and cheapens it by ceasing presence. You can fall in to the trap by expecting a result from your effort, when all you are entitled to is your effort. The rest isn't up to you.

Happiness and suffering

One of the greatest mistakes in life is the pursuit of happiness without suffering. To live is to suffer. Happiness and suffering are two sides of the same coin. So once suffering is accepted and embraced, life can show you it's beauty.
