The Mission

There’s a long story and short to how we got here.

The long includes numerous branding and name changes (from A Team fitness to The Pride Active to now), countless directional updates and a whole lot of confusion about what we were really trying to create with it all. There’s been a huge physical and mental change and still huge developments to come. We have been up, and we have been down, we have wanted to shut it all down and give up and we have shared the highest joys that working on your passion can bring. All of this and we are just beginning.

The short of it is, several years ago, my wife Amy and I, began a fitness journey together that transcended just the physical aspect. We just wanted to improve our fitness after years of not doing much outside social sport and quickly became fascinated with all the ways a human can improve their lives. Thus, began the deep dive that has led us to now. Movement, mindset, nutrition, recovery, habits, resilience, performance, happiness, passion, purpose, culture, leadership, accountability, business, character, stoicism…… all of it.

We believe that we are much healthier and happier humans than we were several years ago, and we have only scratched the surface.

Inspired Lion is our chance to share the fire that burns in our soul when we are pursuing our potential. This is about so much more than just a physical change. We want to create an environment that is conducive to the pursuit of potential, however that looks for you. We want to create products and content that assist this pursuit. We want to make training your mindset and character as important as your body. We have become Inspired Lions and we want you to join the pride.
