“What would you tell me if I was in a funk?”
That’s the simple advice I got a few weeks ago from a friend when I was having a down day.
My first thought was “Yeah, whatever” but after some more pushing it became clear that I knew exactly what I needed to do to turn it around.
It’s funny how that’s true more often than not. We know what we need most of the time and we are sure as hell good at telling other people what they need.
Apply that back to yourself a bit more and see how you go.
Next time you’re in a funk, ask yourself “What would I tell my friend in the same situation?”
