“Writing about the strategies I learn really help to drive it home for myself.”
I have been working through a Mental Performance Mastery Certification lately and I find that I sink ideas better into myself when I then write about them after learning, and I wanted to write about the one that has really stuck with me over the weekend.
Start, Stop, and Continue
This strategy is presented as an extremely simple yet effective way to train an elite mindset in ourselves and the people we work with by developing a process to bring more awareness to the actions and thoughts that may be holding us back. You can probably see why I was drawn to this course.
Now I haven’t dove into the application of this strategy yet but it hits me as another great way to develop the art of feedback, both given and accepted, so this week I am going to ask myself and my team, “Based on your goals, what must you start, stop, and continue between this session and the next to help you get closer to your goals and the pursuit of your potential?”
Follow up and accountability will be a huge part of the success of this strategy so I will follow up in a week with my answers and how I adhered to them.
If you would like to follow along then physically write down your answers somewhere you will see them multiple times during the week and we can compare notes on our outcomes in a week’s time.
